It is said that Australia is fortunate to have such a range of billfish of all sizes along its enormous coast line. One part being the North West coast on the Ningaloo Reef, in particular the waters off Coral Bay, is no exception. Fishing for billfish such as blue, black and stripped marlin, sailfish and broadbill can be an experience of a lifetime. There is something very special and exciting about catching, tagging and releasing one of these ocean wonders. Coral Bay is one of only 5 fringed reefs in the world and offers the visitor more than just a lazy day on the beach. Enjoy not only fishing but, the beauty of the reefs corals and marine life, such as turtles, dolphins, whales, whale sharks, sharks and an abundance of bird life in the area.

Spending a day on the ocean aboard the magnificent 55’ Mahi Mahi 11, watching Captain Bernie can be an experience in itself. The crew will go through the daily standard routine before setting out for the charter, no matter what species will be targeted; crew will show terms of tackle and preparation for the catch. With nearly 20 years fishing experience and knowledge in the area, Bernie will discuss the likely weather conditions and possible encounters and plan what’s needed for the punters best results.

Captain Bernie was awarded Top Tagging Captain for Black Marlin in the Indian Ocean for 2002, 2003 and runner up in 2004, by the Billfish Foundation, Florida, USA, after building his business around his passion for fishing and conservation.

Enjoy a full day fishing off Coral Bay for light game or bottom fish, enjoying both types of fishing in one day, and take home a bag (State bag limits apply) of scrumptious table fish, such as Red Emperor, Nor West Snapper, Pearl Perch and Ranking Cod. Or enjoy the thrill of heavy game fishing with a minimum group of 4 punters. Maybe join the many annual punters who travel to Exmouth to compete in the annual Game Fishing Tournament, GAMEX.

Group charters are a specialty and can be tailored to suit up to 10 punters with overnight accommodation in Coral Bay, packaged on a 7 day basis.
Overnight live aboard packages can also be tailored for up to 6 punters, enjoying the delights of the Ningaloo Reef, bottom fishing, game fishing, exploring the reef swimming, snorkeling, diving or just anchored up in one of the many tranquil Bays, watching the sun set at the end of the day, after an exciting day fishing enjoying a drink and discussing the days catch.

For safety reasons no children under 6 yrs allowed on the boat. No refund if cancellation made within 24 hours prior to charter

Group or Private charters for up to 10 people $2795 per day.
For every extra person up to 15 - $120 per person per day.

Game Fishing – sole or share (max 4 people) heavy or light game fishing - stand up or chair
Ideal for groups, special occasions, family outings, or end of year functions. For up to 20 people inside the reef

HEAVY GAME FISHING

SOLE CHARTER – Heavy Game Fishing for up to 4 people $2,800 per day (this applies to GAMEX)
SHARE CHARTER – Share Heavy Game Fishing for up to 4 people $670 per person per day.

All Private Charters include light lunch, morning and afternoon tea, tea, coffee, cold water, bait and tackle

ALL CHARTERS INCLUDE

Tea, coffee & drinking water, bait & tackle, we clean, fillet & bag your catch, Freezing & storage of catch
