Operators of the new luxury 55’ Mahi Mahi 11, Coral Bay’s unique sports fishing specialist operating out of Coral Bay on the Ningaloo Reef in the North of Western Australia. We offer excellent and exciting sport fishing opportunities and great charter packages, using top of the range, quality tackle. We proudly promote state wide bag limits and support the IBF tag and release program. The Ningaloo Reef provides an abundance of fish to be caught, including Blue Marlin, Black Marlin and Stripped Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Mackerel and Dolphin Fish(Mahi Mahi). On the bottom there are Red Emperor, Spangled Emperor, Cods, Perch, Trout and many more species.

THE BOAT
"Mahi Mahi 11” is a well maintained 55 ft Harriscraft built vessel with top of the range equipment for chair and stand up, heavy and light game fishing along with bottom fishing. For game fishing, we recommend up to 4 anglers only, for bottom fishing we can comfortably fish 18 anglers. All bait and tackle is provided. The vessel has a large shaded deck, separate shower and toilet and fully equipped galley.

THE CAPTAIN
“Captained by Captain Bernie Vale with over 20 years experience fishing on the Ningaloo Reef, our friendly crew is there to assist when ever needed.

Bernie was awarded Top Tagging Captain – Black Marlin – Indian Ocean 2002 and 2003 and runner for 2004, by the Billfish Foundation, Florida, and USA.
And a member of the IGFA Certified Captain programme.

We are available to compete in the annual Exmouth Game Fishing Club tournaments, GAMEX and the Billfish Bonanza.

THE DOLPHIN FISH - CORYPHAENA HIPPURUS
The long slender shape of the dolphin fish coupled with a large forked tail, gives the species great speed and acrobatic ability. Many regard the Mahi Mahi as the perfect sport fish.
